Town Football & Cheer Leagues Join Together as One

The town of Fairfield now has one youth tackle football, flag football and cheer program. The Fairfield Giants and Fairfield Wildcats youth football programs are joining forces to form Fairfield Youth Football (FYF). The Fairfield Giants, founded in 1966, previously played in the Southern Connecticut Pop Warner League. The Fairfield Wildcats, founded in 2005, played in the Fairfield County Football League, (FCFL) www.fairfieldcountyfootball.org. The combined entity will play under the Giants field name and compete in the FCFL. Fairfield Youth Football will play against teams from Darien, New Canaan, Westport, Wilton, Ridgefield, Weston, and Aspetuck. Fairfield Youth Football will host their home games at Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde High Schools, Tomlinson Middle School and Sullivan Field.
The combining of the programs has the strong support and endorsement of the Head Football Coaches at Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde. FYF offers tackle programs for Fairfield children in grades 3-8. FYF also offers house and travel flag football teams for Fairfield children grades K-5. There are sideline and competition cheer teams for Fairfield children grades K-8. The Program will begin its new season with a Kick Off Cookout/Beach Party on August 12, 2018. Practice will begin on August 13, 2018.

Find the registration program you would like to participate in.
Click Register.
Read the restrictions, and click Continue.
If you have an account, sign in. If you do not have an account, create one.
Enter the Parent/Guardian information.
Click Submit.
Enter the Player's information. Click Submit.
On the supplemental information page, answer all questions and complete all required fields.
Click Submit.
At this point, if you have multiple players to register, click the Register Another button. If not, click Pay Now.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete payment.
