Trumbull High School Choirs to Perform Annual Winter Concert December 18

An evening of holiday music with the glorious voices of the THS Choirs. Thursday, December 18. Tickets at the door, $5.

Once again, the Trumbull High School Choirs have prepared an evening of song to lift the spirit and celebrate the season. On Thursday, December 18 the five Trumbull High School choral groups will present their annual Winter Concert at 7:30 pm in the Trumbull High School Auditorium, 72 Strobel Road. Tickets are $5 each, available at the door.

Dynamic Choir Director Anne Tornillo will conduct the Concert Choir, the Chamber Singers, the Freshman Chorus, the Women’s Ensemble and the Men’s Ensemble in a variety of holiday music. Selections include We Three Kings, Carol of the Bells, Maoz Tsur, Jingle Bells, and many more. The evening will conclude, as it always does, with a joyful Hallelujah Chorus. This is an annual tradition at Trumbull High when all the choral groups combine on stage joined by chorus alumni from the audience.

Over the years the Trumbull High School Choirs have performed with other choral groups at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and in England, France, Italy and Germany on their international travels. If you haven’t heard them perform, you are in for a treat.
