Woman Struck and Killed by Train in Fairfield Identified
The woman was struck while crossing the tracks on Sunday evening.

The woman who was struck and killed by a train Sunday in Fairfield has been identified as Fallon Newvine, 31, of Waterbury, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports that Newvine was struck by an Amtrak train heading toward New Haven at about 5:45 p.m.
While the investigation is ongoing, News 12 Connecticut reports that Newvine may have been trying to cross the tracks to reach a platform on the other side when she was struck.
