• Terryville Man Charged In 2025 Fatal I-84 Crash In Farmington: State (patch.com) — Farmington drivers are learning more about a deadly I-84 crash that happened near Exit 37 in 2025, as state police have now charged a Terryville man in connection with the incident. Investigators say his van struck two men standing outside their vehicles on the Farmington shoulder, killing one and injuring another, and the case is now moving through Superior Court.
   

• Donation assists those giving blood (bristoledition.org) — Farmington residents are being encouraged to donate blood as the American Red Cross in Farmington just received over 200 foam baseballs to help donors stay comfortable during draws. Local umpire and Farmington resident Kyle Meccariello, who has given more than 100 donations himself, hopes the gesture inspires more neighbors to roll up their sleeves and support lifesaving services.
