Colgate University, Hamilton NY

• Brandon Biney, of Farmington, is a graduate in the Colgate University in the Class of 2019. Biney, a graduate of Farmington High School, majored in sociology, with a minor in writing and rhetoric at Colgate. Biney received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Colgate's 198th Commencement, May 19.

Dean College, Franklin MA

• Dean College is pleased to announce that Emily Turkeltaub of Unionville has earned a place on the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Katherine O'Connor of Unionville, a Marketing major at Lasell College, was named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. O'Connor achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher with at least 12 completed credits to merit this accomplishment.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2019 Dean's List, which includes five Farmington residents: Sarah Lipinski, Lilly Mastrogiovanni, Julie Melnyk, Nickole Morris and Karissa Rovella. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
