Campus Notes - Farmington College Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Sabrina Drezek of Farmington was recently named to Emmanuel College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Grove City College, Grove City PA

• Kevin Kaufman, a senior major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean's List with High Distinction for the fall 2017 semester. Kevin is a 2014 graduate of Farmington Senior High School and is the son of Robert and Lynn Kaufman from Unionville. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Carolyn Bittner of Unionville and Emily Pareles of Farmington have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2017 semester. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
