Election to Go on Tuesday

Request for deferral denied. Voters who normally vote at West Woods will cast their ballot at Irving A Robbins instead.

A request to defer Farmington municipal elections was denied today in court. The request was brought because it was thought that some roads were too dangerous for voters to travel and some of the town's polling places are without power.

Instead, the election will go on as scheduled Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at regular polling places.

Voters who normally vote at West Woods Upper Elementary will instead go to , at 20 Wolf Pit Road.

All other voters will vote at the same campus as they usually do, though not at the same building. Those who vote at Farmington High School normally will go to . Those who vote at the Community Center will vote at the . Irving A Robbins voters will still vote at Irving Robbins.
