Students in grades two through six are invited to a spelling bee at the Farmington Library, sponsored by Mr. McDermott's Civic Virtue Class from Avon High School. The class is spreading awareness in the Farmington Valley of the privilege of being able to read. The winner of the spelling bee will be named Farmington Valley's Spelling Champ and will win a gift card from Barnes & Noble.
