Farmington-based Primacy Develops Google Glass App for Race Across America
The app will help connect racers and donors in real-time.

Farmington-based digital agency Primacy announced that it is teaming up with 3000 Miles to a Cure to develop a Google Glass app for Race Across America in order to help raise money for brain cancer research.
The app will allow riders to share their view of the race with viewers. In turn, riders will receive notifications when someone donates. The race lasts for 10 days.
“Brain cancer has a very low survival rate and because it affects the brain, its impact on the patient and family is devastating,” said Maria Parker, director, 3000 Miles to a Cure. “Our mission is to end brain cancer by raising funds for research, extending an open invitation to unite in hope and action for the cure. We’re thrilled to work with Google and Primacy to utilize Glass to further our cause and help find a cure to end brain cancer.”
