Farmington Music Student Gathers Instruments for Non-Profit
High school junior collected 39 instruments for students who cannot afford to buy their own.

Justin Isner, a member of the Farmington High School Chapter of TRI M Music Honor Society, spearheaded an instrument drive across the Farmington Public Schools district.
Collecting instruments for an organization called Hungry for Music was a challenging endeavor. Students and families from Farmington donated their used instruments with the mission of Hungry for Music in mind.
At Hungry for Music, “the most important service is putting musical instruments into hungry hands. The organization serves children who demonstrate a desire to learn music as well as teachers who have students willing to learn” but cannot afford to purchase their own instruments.

Justin, a junior, was ambitious and convinced others that this would be a great cause. He collected 39 instruments including violins, guitars, saxophones, trumpets and drums for the organization.
