Jordan J. Brathwaite, 20, of 31 Gillett St., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, in connection with a shoplifting call on South Rd., 12:54 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 23

Santos Melendez, 40, of 83 Main St., Newington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, in connection with a domestic disturbance on Farmington Ave., 9:15 a.m.

Kevin Steele, 25, of 22 Neal Dr., Simsbury, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, drinking while driving and improper number of headlamps, in connection with a traffic stop on Talcott Notch, 8:57 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 25

Matthew P. Carroll, 37, of 1732 Farmington Ave., Apt. 3, Unionville, was charged with operating under the influence and following too closely, in connection with a motor vehicle accident on West Avon Rd. and Farmington Ave., 9:22 p.m.
