Farmington Schools Alter Friday's Schedule
A wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain is developing, and a weather advisory has been issued for much of Connecticut.

FARMINGTON, CT — An expected wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain has caused school officials in Farmington to dismiss students early on Friday, Dec. 22. There will be no afternoon preschool, and all after-school activities and Farmington Continuing Education are canceled.
Dismissal times are:
- Farmington High School - 12:31 p.m.
- Irving A. Robbins Middle School - 12:31 p.m.
- West Woods Upper Elementary - 1:15 p.m.
- East Farms Elementary - 1:15 p.m.
- Noah Wallace Elementary - 1:15 p.m.
- West District Elementary - 1:15 p.m.
- Union Elementary - 1:15 p.m.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of Connecticut, including Hartford County, from 11 a.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.
