As Oscar season wound down, a group of residents at a Farmington assisted living facility recently had their own 'Red Carpet' celebration.

FARMINGTON, CT — With the Oscars doling out their awards Sunday night, residents of the Farmington Station assisted living facility could watch and say "been there, done that."
Recently, in recognition of celebrity award season, the residents of Farmington Station, 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, decided to take their fashionable stroll down the red carpet.

The residents and staff at the assisted living community got the chance to get creative with their outfits and express themselves in front of a crowd.
They dressed in Hollywood-worthy attire and posed in front of a black and gold VIP backdrop.

"The event was a fantastic celebration of self-expression, creativity, and community spirit, bringing everyone together in a fun and supportive atmosphere," wrote Farmington Station in an announcement.
