Man Fatally Shot In Farmington While In Bed: Police
Police Thursday had a suspect in custody after a fatal shooting in Farmington the night before, according to a report.

FARMINGTON, CT — Farmington police had a suspect in custody on a seven-figure bond Thursday morning after a nighttime shooting they are terming a homicide.
At 10:56 Wednesday night, the Farmington Police Department received a 911 call from a single-family home on Sunset Terrace in the Unionville section of town. The caller reported that a shooting had just occurred inside the residence, police said.
Officers located a 32-year-old man lying in bed with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. According to a report, a 24-year-old man had fled the scene in the victim's vehicle.

The victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital and medical Center in Hartford and was pronounced dead at 12:09 a.m. Thursday.
The victim's vehicle was located by a Farmington officer heading east on Route 4 at 12:05 a.m., according to a report. The car turned onto the westbound side of Interstate 84, where Farmington officers were able to "forcibly" stop the vehicle, according to a report.

The suspect was then taken into custody and, was being held on a $1 million dollar bond. He is so far charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, risk of injury to a child, and reckless endangerment. Two children were in the house, authorities said.
He was to appear in Hartford Superior Court Thursday.
Police said both the victim and suspect live together at a Sunset Terrace residence.
Police said Thursday morning that detectives are attempting to notify family members, and were therefore not releasing the names of those involved.
On Thursday afternoon, authorities identified the suspect as Deondre Linder and the victim as Jorge Tejada Camacho and documents also revealed that Camacho was engaged to Linder's sister.
