• Farmington OK's Deal For Major High-Tech Upgrades In Town (patch.com) — Farmington is rolling out a new CivicPlus-powered website, 311 request system, and AI chatbot after the Town Council unanimously approved a $61,690 contract within its capital budget. Over the next several months, residents will gain tools to report issues online, track responses, access accessibility features, and use a new FarmingtonCT.gov portal, while Everbridge will remain for emergency alerts.

• Ex-stripper gets 2 years in prison for Farmington hot tub home invasion (theday.com) — A woman involved in planning a 2022 robbery that turned into a violent home invasion at a Farmington residence has been sentenced in Hartford to two years in prison after testifying against her co-defendants. The men she recruited received 21-year sentences, while her cooperation led to a significantly reduced term and the dismissal or consolidation of several other charges.
