Police: Bail Bondsman's K-9 Bit Child in Farmington

The man was arrested after his work K-9 bit his stepdaughter, police said.

A man who purchased a K-9 to utilize in his work as a bail bondsman was arrested after the dog bit his wife’s 6-year-old daughter, according to police.

David Breau, 31, of Farmington purchased the K-9 from a Georgia company, said Lt. Colin Ryan, police spokesman. The dog was pre-trained in protection and as a working dog and not a pet.

“The dog is not licensed and was allowed to interact with the children in the home without Breau’s supervision,” Ryan said.
