Sunday, 9/18: Local Roads to be Impacted by Wearsafe Women’s Triathlon

With approximately 400 participants expected, please be aware of traffic impact affecting the area from 8-10:00 a.m.

The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the Wearsafe Women’s Triathlon on September 18, 2016, in Farmington. With approximately 400 participants expected, please be aware of traffic impact and limited road closures affecting the area from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

The following will remain open for use by vehicles and race participants from 8:00 until 10:00. Please expect minor delays and use caution:

-Farmington Ave (Route 4)

-West Avon Rd (Route 167)

The Hartford Marathon Foundation makes every effort to minimize the impact of the race on local roads and neighborhoods while bringing participants in to enjoy the Farmington community. Please seek alternate routes during the race if impacted. A detailed course map of the bike course is available here.
