Town Will Pick Up Storm Debris

Great news for residents who have spent the past few days using a chainsaw to uncover their backyards: The Town of Farmington has decided to make it easy for residents to dispose of debris through two options.

First, the Town’s compost station will be open extended hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. The usual fee will be waived and contractors just need to specify where the debris came from. The compost station is located off Red Oak Hill Road.

The Town will also be picking up storm debris and branches placed curbside once conditions are safe to do so. A date has not been set.
