2 Experienced Officers Join Police Force In Glastonbury
The Glastonbury Police Department has a pair of new officers.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The Glastonbury Police Department last week welcomed two experienced officers to the force.
Officer Brian Gutierrez (Badge 472) has transferred from the Waterbury Police Department, where he served for more than six years. Gutierrez attended Tunxis Community College in Farmington. Officer Gutierrez served the City of Waterbury in several different functions in the Police Department, including the Patrol Division, the Crime Prevention Unit and the SWAT Team.
Officer Luke Leonardi (Badge 473) also joins the ranks at the Glastonbury Police Department from the Waterbury department, where he was employed for more than four years. Officer Leonardi has a bachelors degree from Post University, with a major in Emergency Management. During his tenure with the City of Waterbury Police Department, Officer Leonardi served in the Patrol Division and earned the department's life-saving award.
