COVID-19 cases in Glastonbury schools

Between Sept. 30 and Oct. 6, two Glastonbury schools, Hebron Avenue School and Glastonbury High School, reported less than six cases each, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health. No other cases were reported during that time frame in any other Glastonbury school.

Drug Take Back Day, Sponsored by Glastonbury Police and Youth & Family Services

Glastonbury Police and Youth & Family Services will be sponsoring a Drug Take Back Day event at the Riverfont Community Center on October 23, 2021 from 10am to 2 pm. Citizens with unused prescription medications can dispose of them properly by simply driving through the parking lot and handing them to our staff, which ensures that the drugs stay out of the wrong hands. Medications can be left in the original containers, but please remember to cross out any personal information on the label.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT SYRINGES, EPI-PENS, INHALERS, OR ANY ITEMS CONTAINING MERCURY.
