Lt. 3. Governor Lamont Announces State Grants for 50 Projects To Restore and Improve Trails (ct.gov) — Glastonbury is receiving nearly $295,000 from the state's Recreational Trails Grant Program to build an ADA-accessible trail at Arbor Acres, improving local access for residents with mobility challenges. The funding is part of a $10.5 million statewide package Governor Lamont announced to enhance trails, with projects aimed at boosting outdoor recreation, public health, and local economies across Connecticut.
   

4. Girls Festival Field Packed With Championship Talent (milesplit.com) — Glastonbury cross-country standout Lauren Parrett is one of the top contenders at this weekend's Festival of Champions, bringing New England-level experience into a deep field of Maine and Connecticut runners. Glastonbury High School's girls team is also seeded right with Falmouth for the overall title, setting up a tight team battle where every runner's finish could decide the championship.
