GLASTONBURY, CT — A Hartford man has been charged in connection with auto burglaries at a Glastonbury gym.

On Nov. 4, Glastonbury police Department served two arrest warrants on Tajay Hunter of Hartford. The warrants stemmed from an investigation into multiple break-ins of vehicles parked at the Edge Fitness Center that occurred in February and July, police said.

The arrest was the result of an investigation over several months conducted by members of the Glastonbury, East Hartford, Manchester and Rocky Hill Police Departments, along with members of the Greater Hartford Regional Auto Theft Task Force. Hunter was taken into custody in Hartford in August 2022, charged in Manchester and eventually charged in Glastonbury.

In Glastonbury, Hunter was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, five counts of theft of a payment card, three counts of first-degree criminal mischief and larceny in the third, fifth and sixth degree.
