• Wrong-Way Driver Intercepted In Glastonbury (patch.com) — Glastonbury police stopped a wrong-way driver on Glastonbury Boulevard early Tuesday morning after receiving an alert about a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road. Officers say the 50-year-old Glastonbury resident was intoxicated and charged him with DUI. He is due in Manchester Superior Court on June 16.    

• 2026 Pride celebrations in Connecticut: LIST (wtnh.com) — If you’re planning your June calendar, Glastonbury Pride is set for Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. at 330 Hubbard Street. It’s part of a larger slate of Pride Month celebrations across Connecticut, giving local residents plenty of options for parades, festivals, and community gatherings nearby.    

• Work zone speed cameras to begin issuing warnings (wfsb.com) — Starting Monday, state work-zone speed cameras — including one in Glastonbury — will begin issuing only warnings to drivers going 10 mph or more over the limit, with fines starting in July. The cameras operate only when workers are present, and any vehicle hitting 85 mph or more in these zones will face a $75 fine, with revenue going to Connecticut’s Special Transportation Fund.
