The proposed project is set to provide the school a hands on outdoor classroom to be used for student gardening, bird watching and science activities. It will be an area for writers, artists and musicians to create, as well as a site for performances and school celebrations.

Plans also include gardens, picnic tables and a 100-seat amphitheater. The gardens will also include a “whimsical” garden shed built by local Eagle Scout candidate Connor Spencer.

Along with the fundraiser, the PTO is seeking grants for the project. For more information on the brick fundraiser, visit the school website.
