Child Found Alone In Hot Car In Glastonbury, Mom Arrested: Cops
A mom was charged after a child was found alone in a car on a sweltering Sunday in Glastonbury, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A child was found unattended in a vehicle in a commercial parking lot in Glastonbury on a hot and humid afternoon, and the mother is facing a criminal charge as a result, police said.
The incident took place at one of the hottest times of the day Sunday — 12:15 p.m. — when temperatures were well into the 90s.
Police identified the address of the parking lot to be 55 Oak St., which is the address of a Stop & Shop supermarket.

The mom is 36 and her listed address is in New York City, according to an arrest report. She was charged with leaving a child younger than 12 unsupervised in a motor vehicle in a public setting.
