Driver Killed In Overnight Crash: Glastonbury Police

The vehicle missed a stop sign and crossed an intersection, traveling into a wooded area and striking a tree, according to police.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A driver was killed in an overnight crash in Glastonbury, according to police.

Authorities responded around 1 a.m. Sunday to the scene of the collision at Hopewell and Matson Hill roads, police said, adding the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was presumed dead at the scene.

The vehicle was traveling southwest on Hopewell Road when it missed a stop sign and crossed the Matson Hill Road intersection, traveling into a wooded area and striking a tree, according to police.
