Effective June 15, Glastonbury Transfer Station Resumes Standard Operating Hours

The Put and Take area will remain closed for the health and safety of residents and staff.

Effective the week of June 15, the Transfer Station will resume its standard, pre-COVID-19 pandemic operating hours of Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with extended Wednesday hours of 7:00 – 7:00 PM during Daylight Savings Time. All standard designated materials are accepted and associated fees charged as outlined in the Waste Disposal Guidelines.

The Put and Take area will remain CLOSED for the health and safety of residents and staff. The Bulky Waste Facility will continue to operate under the current (modified) schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Please note, New permit issuance (purchase) is still suspended until further notice and all existing (current) permits will remain valid.

Per the Governor and CDC guidelines, face masks and social distancing continue to be required while visiting either facility.
