Glastonbury Chamber’s Professional Women’s Forum Moved to March 28

The event was moved to March 28 after last week's storm dumped nearly a foot of snow on Glastonbury.

 

The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce announced that the 6th Annual Professional Women’s Forum—originally scheduled for March 8—is back on at the Pond House Grille starting at 11:30 a.m. on March 28.

"Join us for the 6th Annual Professional Women's Forum - Ignite Change for Your BEST Life! We are excited to have bestselling author Brett Blumenthal as our keynote speaker.

Ms. Blumenthal is the author of A Whole New You: Six Steps to Ignite Change for Your Best Life (December 2012), 52 Small Changes: One Year to a Happier, Healthier You (January 2012) and Get Real and STOP Dieting! (December 2010). She regularly speaks at conferences, spas and wellness centers on topics of change and wellbeing.

Her writing is regularly featured on popular sites including: Huffington Post, and Yahoo!, and she has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and numerous other publications. Brett has appeared on NBC, FOX and CBS, as well as on Martha Stewart’s Whole Living Radio Show – on Sirius Radio. She is a regular guest on Better Connecticut (WFSB – CBS, Hartford, CT) and MyFox – 25 in Boston.

Her keynote presentation will address how we can ignite change in our personal and professional lives. She will explore why we get stuck and how to get "unstuck" to move forward with goals towards a better future.

The event will feature an hour of networking (11:30 - 12:30) with exhibitor tables before the sitdown luncheon begins at 12:30pm.
