Glastonbury Commission OKs Plan for Five Guys to Come to Glastonbury

The plan and zoning commission unanimously approved plans to bring the burger chain to the former Friendly's building on Main St.

 

The plan and zoning commission unanimously approved plans to bring Five Guys Burgers and Fries to the former Main St. Friendly’s in Glastonbury.

The chain restaurant, known for its burgers, fries and shelled peanuts, is hoping to renovate the abandoned Friendly’s building at 2944 Main St. Five Guys is known for moving into and refurbishing old restaurant buildings.

The 2,578-square-foot restaurant would include indoor seating, as well as outdoor patio seating. The Glastonbury restaurant would be the sixth location for the company east of the Connecticut River.
