Glastonbury Conservation Commission to Review Cumberland Farms Plan Tonight
The convenience store company is looking to greatly expand their Main St. location.

The Cumberland Farms at the corner of Main St. and Glastonbury Boulevard is going before the conservation commission tonight as part of a plan to build a new, much larger store.
Cumberland Farms, Inc., is going before the conservation commission tonight to apply for an inland wetlands permit and referral to the town planning and zoning commission.

Under the proposed plan, the existing 1,700-square-foot Cumberland Farms building at 2875 Main St. would be demolished. A new 4,200-square-foot would be built to the west of the current structure, with 23 additional parking spaces added. The existing pumps and canopy would remain in place.
The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the town council chambers of town hall.
