Glastonbury police took the bright approach in naming their new police dog.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police took the bright approach in naming their new police dog.
Here's the announcement:
There’s been a lot of interest from the community in learning our new K-9’s name! She came to us with the name Soleil (So-Lay) which we’ve grown quite fond of so we’ve decided not to change her name! Soleil is the French word for “sun.” pic.twitter.com/ryR67Cwv1v

Soleil joined the Glastonbury department about two weeks ago as the first police dog in several years.
