Glastonbury Council Approves $600,000 Sale of Former School Board Offices
Titan Energy of Rocky Hill will convert the Williams St. property to their new headquarters.

The Glastonbury Town Council approved the sale of the former school board office during a meeting Tuesday night.
Titan Energy of Rocky Hill will purchase the former school board office on Williams Street for $600,000, according to Town Manager Richard Johnson.
"It was a very reasonable price and well done negotiations," councilman Whit C. Osgood said.
The building first went on the market in May 2011 for $875,000. It has sat empty since that time. The building was once headquarters of the J.B. Williams Co., which made products like Skol and Lectric Shave.
The company would use the building as their home offices. Titan Energy plans to sell additional space in the building for other business offices.
Titan Energy works with clients to find the lowest natural gas and electricity prices.
