UPDATE: Glastonbury Daycare Director Also Arrested in Case Involving Abused 2-Year-Olds
An employee allegedly abused more than one child at The Stork Club over the course of a year, but the director did not stop it, cops say.

Updated at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016: The director of The Stork Club daycare facility in Glastonbury has been arrested in connection with the case involving a worker who allegedly hit and restrained two-year-old children.
Meegan Beach, 40, of Hebron, was charged Monday with three counts of failure to report child abuse and three counts of risk of injury to a minor, reports Fox61 News.
On Friday, Nicole L. Mayo, 22, who worked at the center, was arrested following a complaint from the state Department of Children & Families.

Other employees of The Stork Club allegedly told Beach of Mayo's actions toward several children, but she did nothing about it, nor did she report it to DCF, according to police.
Beach is being held in lieu of a $40,000 bond.

Original story: GLASTONBURY, CT - A 22-year-old Weatherfield woman has been arrested on charges she allegedly abused "several" two-year-olds while she was working at The Stork Club day care facility in Glastonbury, according to police.
Nicole L. Mayo was charged with three counts of risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct in connection with alleged incidents where she "hit, restrained and roughly handled" children at the facility over the course of a year.
"Glastonbury Police received the complaint from [the state Department of Children & Families] in December 2015 and a criminal investigation was opened," authorities said in a statement.
Including the Glastonbury location, The Stork Club has six locations in Connecticut, and the company has not commented publicly about the arrest, reports the Hartford Courant.
Mayo was arrested on March 18 and released after posting a $65,000 surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 6.
