Glastonbury Education Foundation Donates $8,000 for School Recording Studio

Naubuc Elementary School's "Soaring Eagles Recording Studio" project benefited from the donation.

Glastonbury's musically-inclined elementary school students will soon have access to high-quality recording equipment thanks to a donation from the Glastonbury Education Foundation.

The GEF recently donated $8,000 to Naubuc Elementary School's "Soaring Eagles Recording Studio," an initiative which hopes to provide school choirs and student musicians with a recording studio.

The studio is expected to be ready for the 2013-14 school year, according to Naubuc Principal Michael Litke.

Litke wrote a letter thanking the foundation, saying the donation would help make a lasting difference for the town's students.
