Glastonbury Farms, Local Vendors Feeding Dave Matthews Band During CT Visit

Fans of the Dave Matthews Band are already aware that the group is playing at the Comcast Theater in Hartford Friday and Saturday night.

But they may not know that the band members will be feasting on meals supplied by several local businesses a group of local businesses and farms, including several from right here in Glastonbury.

According to NBCConnecticut, several vendors from the Glastonbury Farmers Market are providing food for the band during its visit in Connecticut.

The news station reported that this all started when the Dave Matthews Band contacted Thompson Street Farm in Glastonbury asking if it would supply food during the band's visit.

Thompson Street then decided to contact all of the members of the Glastonbury Farmers Market, many of whom are local farms right here in town, NBC reported.

Some of the other vendors include the NoRA Cupcake Company in Middletown and SoG Coffee Roasters in South Glastonbury.
