Glastonbury Firm Wins Award For Energy Grid Collaboration
Sustainable Innovations was recognized with the Connecticut-Israel Collaboration Award for its work with Israel Chemicals Limited.

A Glastonbury-based energy tech firm has been recognized for its collaboration with a fellow company.
The Hartford Business Journal reported that Sustainable Innovations and Israel Chemicals Limited was presented the joint award for the development of a hydrogen-halogen reversible fuel cell grid used as an energy storage device for the MetroHartford Alliance and the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
The fuel cell uses solar or wind energy to increase stability to the electricity grid, the HBJ reported.
