GLASTONBURY, CT — A Glastonbury man is accused of making phone sex calls to dispatchers at the local police department.

Glastonbury police said that a warrant was issued for 32-year-old Timothy Downey, charging him with second-degree harassment. The warrant was served on Tuesday.

According to an arrest report, Downey is accused of contacting the Glastonbury Police Department via phone multiple times. During the calls, Downey used "sexually explicit language" toward the dispatch center and made threatening statements about "killing people and officers," according to an arrest report.

Downey was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is due in court on April 7, records show.
