Glastonbury Officers Subdue Knife-Wielding Assailant
What began as a routine call led to a knife incident between a man and Glastonbury officers.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A man attacked Glastonbury police officers with a knife Tuesday on what started as a routine call, an incident report indicates.
At 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Glastonbury officers responded to a welfare check request at a Long Hill Drive residence, according to an incident report. While at the scene, officers encountered an unidentified man who went at them with with a knife, according to an incident report.
Officers had to "use force" to subdue the man and he was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to an incident report.
