Glastonbury Police Make Arrest In Corporate Theft Investigation
Glastonbury police have made an arrest in connection with a months-long investigation into the misuse of corporate accounts at a local firm.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police have charged a Hebron woman with first-degree larceny as part of a lengthy investigation into the misuse of business accounts at a local firm.
Tricia Canterbury, 48, was arrested on a warrant Friday.
The investigation began in November 2021, according to an arrest report. The fraudulent purchases took place from 2018 to 2021 while Canterbury was employed at an engineering firm in Glastonbury, according to an arrest report.

She is accused of making purchases at a hardware store in Glastonbury while using a company purchase order, on Amazon.com using the company American Express credit card and at Mobile gas stations using company gas credit cards, according t0 a warrant.
Canterbury was released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on July 29, according to an arrest report.

An arrest report did not mention the total amount of the purchases, but, in Connecticut, a charge of first-degree larceny means they were at least $20,000.
