Glastonbury Schools Offering Four Additional Summer Camps

The Glastonbury Board of Education approved four additional camps at their meeting Monday.

 

There are four additional summer camps now available for Glastonbury students.

At their Monday meeting, the Glastonbury Board of Education approved four additional summer camps for students this June and July.

The additional camps—added to the previously approved 15 tuition-based camps—include:

  • “Bringing Books to Life Through Play” for first-grade through fifth-grade.
  • “Business Boot Camp” for seventh and eighth-graders.
  • “iME – iPad Media Experience” for sixth, seventh and eighth-graders.
  • “Summer Chess Camp” for second-grade through 12th grade.

The school system’s summer camp programs that focus on foreign languages—including Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian and Arabic—are $95, with support from the alternative route to certification program and the state Department of Higher Education.
