GLASTONBURY, CT — A ticket for a $20 Connecticut Lottery scratch game purchased at a store in Glastonbury turned into a payout of thousands.

A player named "Aisha A" of Wethersfield cashed in the $25,000 winner Wednesday. She purchased it at Sam's Food Store, 952 New London Turnpike.

Aisha won the loot in the $500,000 Extravaganza! Second Edition game, which began about a year ago.
