Glastonbury Store Sells Big CT Lottery Winner

GLASTONBURY, CT — A ticket for a $20 Connecticut Lottery scratch game purchased at a store in Glastonbury turned into a payout of thousands.

A player named "Aisha A" of Wethersfield cashed in the $25,000 winner Wednesday. She purchased it at Sam's Food Store, 952 New London Turnpike.

Aisha won the loot in the $500,000 Extravaganza! Second Edition game, which began about a year ago.

The game features a top prize of $500,000 and the odds of winning some sort of prize is 1 in 3.09, according to the CT Lottery.
