Glastonbury Updating Its Veterans Wall Of Honor

GLASTONBURY, CT — The town of Glastonbury is currently in the process of updating its Wall of Honor and needs nominations.

The wall is located on the lower level of Town Hall and is dedicated to those who have served, or are currently serving in the U.S. Military, and were Glastonbury residents at the time of their service.

Community members are being invited to nominate friends and family members for inclusion on the wall.

Nominations should include:

  • Full Name
  • Rank
  • Station
  • Hometown
  • Assignment
  • Immediate family members
  • Photo
    1. 4x6 size 300 dpi jpeg fileOR
    2. 8 x 10 hard copy photo (hard copy photos will be returned following the project)*
  • Please also note if the individual is living or deceased

Submitters should include their full name, phone number, and email address as well.

The Town will accept Wall of Honor nominations through March 5, 2023, at which point the updated Wall will be constructed. Any submissions received after that date will be held for the next update, to be completed in future years.

Nominations can be sent to the Customer Service Center at customerservicecenter@glastonbury-ct.gov and note "Wall of Honor" in the Subject line. The information may also be hand-delivered to the Customer Service Center, located in the main entrance of Town Hall (2155 Main St.) during standard business hours (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
