GLASTONBURY, CT — An incident at a Glastonbury workout center had left a 20-year-old Hartford man with a felony charge.

Glastonbury police this week arrested Matthew Benitez on an active warrant for charges that included first-degree threatening, a Class D felony in Connecticut. The warrant was obtained after police completed an investigation about a threatening and vandalism incident that occurred at Anytime Fitness in May, according to an arrest report.

Benitez is accused of threatening a gym member with a knife and vandalizing a vehicle before leaving the property, according to an arrest report.
