Latest Rains Further Delay Glastonbury-Rocky Hill Ferry Season
So far high water levels have delayed the start of the Glastonbury-Rocky Hill Ferry season.

GLASTONBURY, CT — It is anticipated that the latest rains will keep the historic Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry at the dock on the Connecticut River for at least another week, state Department of Transportation officials said Wednesday.
Officially, it's still a week-to-week thing in terms of when it can begin running for the season, officials said. High water levels make docking tricks at both the Glastonbury and Rocky Hill side. An active river also makes floating debris more likely.
The traditional opening day is April 1.
