Man Crashes Car After Pursuit In Glastonbury: Report
A man crashed his car after a pursuit in Glastonbury, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A man was charged after a pursuit and a crash related to a disturbance in Glastonbury, police said.
On Tuesday at 2:17 a.m., a woman on Denslow Road told police that a her ex-husband, identified as Charles Walker, was trying to get inside her home. An officer responded to the area and located Walker's pickup truck operating in the neighborhood. The officer attempted to stop the pickup, but Walker fled and the officer had to break off the pursuit.
A short time later, East Hartford police Glastonbury officers that the truck had crashed into
a house on Forbes Street near Maple Street.

Walker, 52, of Glastonbury, was located and taken into custody a short distance away
Walker was taken into custody and charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree burglary, interfering with police, engaging p[olice in a pursuit, and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, according to a report.

Walker was transported to Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and was being held on a $100,000 bond, police said.
He will also be charged with a PRAWN warrant for violation of probation related to a restraining order, a charge that added a $35,000 bond to his case, police said.
