Man Facing Charges Out Of Glastonbury For Counterfeit Currency
He was charged for trying to pass bad money two times, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT —A man has been arrested for two instances in which is accused of trying to make local purchases with what police are describing as "fraudulent currency."
Dezmond Bonds, 25, of East Hartford was charged with first-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny in two separate cases on Monday and appeared in court the same day. He is currently being held on a pair of $10,000 bonds and is due back in court on Dec.21, court records indicate.
The first set of charges relates to an initial case of trying to make purchases with bad currency, police said.

The second is because he was caught coming back to the same establishment to again try to pass a counterfeit bill, police said.
A man with the same name and same birth year appears 20 other times for cases with similar charges with the man being held on thousands of dollars in bonds, judicial system records indicate.
