Mary S. 'Wendy' Howe, Glastonbury Resident, Accomplished Athlete

Mary S. Howe of Glastonbury, also known as Wendy, died peacefully on Sept. 12, 2014.

Wendy was an accomplished athlete and had an extraordinary gift of connecting with children and animals.

She was the wife of the late Dr. Edward R. Howe.

She had four loving children, Edward R. Jr. “Tug” and Jocelyn Howe, Susan Howe, Peter and Laurie Howe, and Tracy and Dan Welling. She also had 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will take place with family and friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
