New Glastonbury Family YMCA Officially Opens
The new location expands the Y's focus on healthy living for all ages.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury has a sleek new YMCA facility.
Harold Sparrow, President and CEO, YMCA of Greater Hartford, welcomed the Glastonbury community at the ribbon cutting ceremony staged Friday morning to celebrate the opening of the Glastonbury Family YMCA.
The Glastonbury YMCA unveiled its new 10,000 square foot facility located at 90 National Drive.

The new location expands the Y's focus on healthy living for all ages with offerings like:
- Increased childcare capacity for preschool children ages 3-4
- Two group exercise studios including a Cycling Studio and one to host group exercise classes such as yoga, core and more, and stretching
- State-of-the-art fitness equipment
- LIVESTRONG at the Y Cancer support group
- Community meeting space
- Youth Sports
- Summer Day Camp
