Overnight Tree Work On Tap For 2 Glastonbury Intersections

GLASTONBURY, CT — Tree work is taking place Tuesday and Wednesday at two busy Glastonbury intersections.

The work is scheduled for the overnight hours of 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on both days, police said.

Town crews will be conducting the tree work near the two rotaries at the intersections of Hebron Avenue and New London Turnpike and Hebron Avenue and House Street, police said.

Motorists can expect road closures and are being urged to use alternate routes.

On the map below, the red lines indicate the affected areas for lane closures. The blue lines are the alternate routes.

Police said not all lanes will be affected at once.
