Election Day is Tuesday, November 2, 2021 and in preparation, the Town of Glastonbury has released the following information for residents.  Should you have any questions, please contact the Registrar of Voter's office at (860) 652-7628 or 7627.  Their hours are Tuesday - Thursday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

How can I vote in the Election on November 2, 2021?


What if I want to vote in person? 

  • For those voting in person, Polling Places will be open on Election Day from 6AM to 8PM.We will haveCOVID-19 safety protocols in place at all polling locations.  Your polling location remains the same for the Municipal Election as for State and Federal Elections.  To look up where you vote, go to the Town Website, Registrar of Voters, under the where do I vote tab.

  • You can register to vote online at https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.door call the Registrars of Voters at 860-652-7627 or 7628 to have a registration form sent to you.  You may also contact the Registrars for information about working at the polls.


What if I want to vote by absentee ballot?

The Absentee Ballot rules have been expanded for the November 2021 election to include COVID-19 concerns.

  • You can request an absentee ballot application simply by calling your Town Clerk’s office, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 860-652-7616.An application can be mailed right to your home, or
  • Print an absentee ballot application by visiting www.glastonbury-ct.gov/absentee, or
  • Pick up an absentee ballot application by visiting Town Hall at the Customer Service Desk, the Riverfront Community Center, the Welles Turner Library or the Town Clerk’s office.

Absentee Ballots become available on October 1, 2021.  Any applications that are received before that date will be processed and a ballot will be mailed out on October 1st.
